There are a few added events this year but it will stay your best 3 of 6. The main points system will stay the same this year but we are adding bonus points for wherever you finish in the actual tournament and hopefully this will eliminate any chances for ties. So, like last year, the TTN points were awarded by the finishing order of the TTN teams only so if TTN boat A was the highest finishing team in the tournament but finished 3rd in the actual tournament he would be 1st for TTN points purposes and get 1000 points. Now if boat A finished 3rd and is the highest placing TTN boat he will receive 70 bonus points for a total of 1070 for that event. The max will be 1100 if you finish 1st in the tournament and get the 100 bonus points. Bonus points will only be awarded if you finish in the top 10 including all tournament entrants. 100 for first down to 10 for 10th.

For 2017 we also added event champions for the highest TTN boat in each event. The entry will be $20 per team and the highest placing TTN boat in each tournament will be the event champ and receive 100% of the money at the final weigh in of each event. You will be able to sign up for this at the captains meetings.
The entry fee for 2017 will be $120 per class and must be paid before the SSFA spring shootout on May 6th. TTN is 100% + payout and places and payout amounts will be determined by the number of entrants. The money stays with each class. Like this past year the winners will receive a big check and the top placing teams in each class will receive a trophy. New this year will be a big traveling 1st place trophy donated by Dan Audette of Code Electrical, Inc.
