Big Dog...
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:07:57 PM »

Caught on a "Barney" FINN Spoon on 12lb. Test line behind a rigger....at the perfect speed, correct depth, and of coarse, the right location....within 4 miles of my slip. wink()

22+lbs at the dock and 39" long.  Had the boat slowed to 1mph for most of the fight just to gain some line on him.  Thanks to Keith,("diverdaddy" on UPAngler) for a great time with a great crew!  You guys were a blast....even after a monsoon for 3 hours and 3-4 footers from the NE  :beer:  There was a reason we were the only boat out there....but it was worth it! :rock:  And Happy Birthday Keith!

Keith,

Looking at your avatar.....is that somebody losing lunch off the side of the boat?  If so, that sure can make for a long day.  I heard it was pretty rough that morning.
Awesome fish, by the way!  :beer:

Hello All wink()

 Just signed up as a member of this forum and wanted to give a SHOUT OUT ;D  to Captain John of Day Break Charters in Marquette, Michigan.  Had an AWESOME time this last Sunday!!   Was very impressed by the way that I was treated as a client and not just a wife of a client.  I knew nothing about deep lake fishing and Captain John was very informative and even though he make me handle everything by myself, he was there all the way teaching me what to do to land my fish.

Long story short....Ladies and Gents....if you are looking to do a GREAT family or couple trip.   Day Break Charters is the one to go with !!  Their trip fees are very reasonable and both Captain John and his wife Jamie's hospitality was very pleasant and reassuring to have cheesy()  I'm looking forward to booking two more trips for next year.  YAY... Can't wait!! :dance:
