Boat and Tackle Setups / Raymarine C Series Widescreens
« on: January 01, 2013, 12:08:25 PM »
Since Raymarine has come out with all new MFDs. There are great deals on the wide series. I have seen C120w selling for under $1700. The wides do not support CHIRP technology sonar. Do not have touch screens, WIFI, or bluetooth like the newest stuff. But is still very good at what it does do, and now at a lot lower price.
Just something to look into for those looking to upgrade electronics this winter.

I believe they are second largest nation by population. Forever they have been killing babies if they are found to be female.  Modern methods at least allow that to be determined before the baby is born, unlike in years past.
So now their buck to doe ratio is all messed up. Last year over 28,000 rapes. More this year. Recently a young girl was gang raped on a bus. In the hospital for weeks fighting to live. The women now protesting the government who appears to find this rape acceptable. I could not imagine what it would be like there as a husband and father of daughters.

Really? And people wonder why this black Friday set records for gun sales?
MARQUETTE -- Two men who pled guilty to breaking into a home in Forsyth Township were in Marquette County Circuit Friday.

Phillip Boyette Jr. and Phillip Boyette Sr. are both charged with invasion of a home on Princeton Drive in Gwinn.

Both were sentenced Friday.

Boyette Sr. was sentenced to 12 months probation and 20 days in jail.

Boyette Jr. will serve 15 days in jail for obstructing and resisting an officer -- but the home invasion sentence has been delayed for a year.

Search student loan bail out.

Since President Obama nationalized the industry (a tacked-on provision of the Obamacare bill), tuition has gone up 25 percent and the three-year default rate is at a record 13.4 percent.

He is looking to pay off 1 trillion dollars in student loans with his new increase in taxes.

Students signing petitions and gathering in picket groups.

I wanted my daughter to get student loans as a way to build credit. First they would only take on a small percent of her costs, due to our ability to actually pay them back. And now they refuse to let me make payments until she finishes school. Which makes me upset. I do not want it to grow into a huge amount. But if our president wants to pay for it, I may not be so upset. Of course I will thank all of you too for helping pay for my daughters schooling.

Gun Talk / Places to shoot
« on: November 14, 2012, 03:03:23 PM »
I read several web site forums where guys talk about having to pay to shoot at a range. All the rules they have to deal with. I feel thankful there are so many places here to go shoot.
But it bothers me that there are so many around here who do not feel the same. They turn these places into dump sites.Couches, chairs, stoves, propane tanks, shot shell casings all over, shot up beer bottles, empty ammo boxes, TVs, computers, and on and on. They should be embarrassed with the targets they leave. I would not want to leave a 24 inch grouping up to show off. It has been busy the last couple weeks with deer season coming. And from the shooting and targets I have seen, there is a bunch of safe deer.
But anyways, what I am trying to get to is, if folks do not start taking care of what we have, we will lose it.
I do though like finding the brass that is left.

It seems to me the CEO of Hostess is not bluffing.

"We deeply regret this decision, but we have repeatedly explained that we will close facilities that are no longer able to produce and deliver products because of a work stoppage — and that we will close the entire company if widespread strikes cripple our business," Hostess Brands CEO Gregory F. Rayburn said.

I can see striking against a company making money. But Hostess filed bankruptcy.

Last day of political BS.
Shame as much devotion will not be put into removing all those damn signs as there was putting them up. They will be in the woods, blowing around for years to come.
Those signs should have the installers name and number on them like tree stands and ice shacks. And a fine given for those signs blowing around in the woods.

Gun Talk / 45 auto small primer
« on: October 29, 2012, 03:17:09 PM »
I keep reading how folks do not like the small primer 45 auto brass and throw it out.
I would be very happy to take it if any of you are trashing it. I like the small primer idea, no need to change my primer set up back and forth between small and large.
