Received this in an email from a friend this morning.  I have no idea if it is as complete as claimed, but there are a ton of models listed.  Enjoy.

Boat and Tackle Setups / 16# ball mold
« on: October 09, 2013, 12:57:37 PM »
Anyone have a 16# mold you would borrow, rent, or sell?  I need to make a few 16#'s for the Scotty High Performance rigger on the boat.  It goes down very sluggishly with a 12#.  Called Scotty and they suggest a minimum of 16# for that rigger.  I have one older Scotty and it drops like a rock with the 12#.

I'll buy one if I have to, and would be willing to share it with someone who also needs 16's.

Lake Superior / Marquette today
« on: October 08, 2013, 08:56:35 PM »
Got out at 10AM and gave up with the wind at 1PM.  Went 5 for 7 in 40 to 60 feet of water, 4 coho and a laker.  It was beautiful until that wind kicked up well over 20.

This is an absolutely awesome video of the "Tight Lines For Troops" event going into it's 5th year at Manistee, MI.  This year they had 60 boats and 280 vets participating.  A very BIG event.

Thier website can be seen here.  http://www.tightlinesfortroops.com/

Unbelievable :thmb:

Madison Rising does the National Anthem.  A little different, but cool.

Product Reviews / Backup Light
« on: September 03, 2013, 12:17:43 AM »
Have trouble with the back up lights on your truck not being bright enough?  I do.

Learned from a friend recently that Tractor Supply carried a back up light that plugs into the 7 pin trailer plug on your truck.  Other places may carry them as well???  I bought one and am very impressed with the result ( not as good as a back up camera but a lot cheaper - $20.00)

It works!

Lake Michigan / Riders at Fairport August 3-4
« on: July 29, 2013, 10:04:45 AM »
My whole family (4 kids and 7 grandkids) are gathering at Fairport this weekend for a family event.  Obviously I don't have room on the boat to get everyone out fishing.  The 4 adult kids are all experienced with salmon and a few of the grandkids as well.

If anyone needs another crew member or two this weekend for any outing, I have some extras  ;D

You will likely see a bunch of screaming kids tubing behind a Whaler off Fairport in the afternoon too, if we have some decent weather

Off Topic / Sky Box. Steelers vs Packers
« on: July 24, 2013, 03:02:31 PM »
We are looking to rent a Sky Box for the Steeler vs Packers on December 23rd. So far we have 12 committed. The cost is $4000 with a limit of 20 people and includes your ticket for the game, food and drinks. That would be $200 each.

Let me know by PM or email if you are interested.

Subject: Michigan Conservation Alert

It looks like Michigan Sportsmen & women may be facing two referendums – not just one – that masquerade as a “wolf issue” but have the hidden agenda of gutting scientific wildlife management and eventually shutting down all hunting, trapping, and fishing!

The Michigan United Conservation Clubs is on top of this and they “have our back” on this issue in a big way!  Please read every single word they have written in this link to their website and then act on their suggestions!!!!

If you think this doesn’t have anything to do with you (and choose to do nothing), the Antis have a good shot at winning.  Remember, we are out-numbered and they have the bucks – but we have the truth, dedication and scientific facts on our side.

Together we can make a difference – but it may take all of us!!!!

Pass this on to every trapper, hunter, and fisherman that you know and sign up to receive the MUCC alerts – they know what’s going on in Michigan.
