You can quit worrying....I have a couple candidates for you to chose from. It won't be easy however, you have to pronounce their names just right when calling for them. I would have your taxidermist order your form now.

You know how we roll..I'll have the posse there for your welcoming party on 12/6.
Odds are you won't shoot very well, or wanna leave the truck for a few days ;)
You need nothing, J.P. is bringing wine  :thmb:

Hunting / Trapping / Deer behind schedule as well!
« on: July 22, 2013, 09:24:22 PM »
The salmon are not the only things running behind this year. I'd guess antler development is a good 3-4 weeks behind also. I collected nearly 2200 pics from 4 cams I had out since late May, I had ONE fawn on film with its mother. 2014 could be tough!
Last Year vs this Year

10 for 14, with the two biggest coming unbuttoned right at the bow of the Old Town.
Keeping the Caviness paddle in the water allowed us to slow the craft enough to achieve proper bait placement,
keeping the "meat rig" in the strike zone. #2 Gold Aberdeen with a medium minnow rigged with a split shot roughly
12-14" above was the hot ticket. The top fish pictured had the 4lb Trilene "screaming" from the Zebco 202.

Thermacell, Dryer Sheets, Deep Woods Off, The Squito's loved them all. They would actually pause in the middle of the mist while you were spraying, take a deep breathe, get all jacked up, and come out the other side like Big Arn busting through a smoke machine with his rock band! They are frickin Nutz....I think they're running blocker for the ticks this year.
