Fished off of the Kipling access last night. Buddy of mine had caught a nice mess of perch the day before, basically between the access and Butler's Island. Ended up being one of those "you should have been here yesterday" trips. We had fish under us the entire time, but they were mostly all small perch. Only ended up with a handful of keepers that we released.

Measured 14 inches of ice, and the access was in the best shape I've ever seen it at this time of the year. Saw a couple people on quads traveling across the bay. Still some good icefishing opportunities to be had, if you're not burned out on it, yet.

I know a few folks fishing on the Stonington side in 35' FOW are getting some nice jumbos.
