Growing horns
« on: July 15, 2017, 09:06:53 PM »

Went up to Sagola today to check my deer cam.  I have it set on a path between 2 beaver ponds.  Thought I'd share.

What difference between Sagola and mid Menominee county.  68 pics in month in Sagola,  1510 in the Stephenson area.  Only 2 bucks not even legal spikes.  But hope the pics will show it, but these pics of a doe show here covered with ticks or warts?  Any ideas?

Yup. The farther north you go. The less deer their are. I really don't know what the reason is. Talked to a bunch of loggers. They say they see hardly any north of m95 time bridge. Asked about wolves and they have not seen any of those either. Hopefully the pendulum will swing the other way.

I have a grainy shot of a pair of high eights, with about a ten inch spread on one of three cameras I checked in the rain last week. Nice deer next year.
