Chicago Lake
« on: July 16, 2006, 06:38:03 AM »

Just got back from camping with the family on Chicago Lake on Hwy. 13 in delta county. It is just west of Camp 7 Lake, it's a beautiful place to camp and fish, but very "Primative" I think it is called....lol
We canoed and fished.. The lake is packed full of bluegill, and most of them are nice sized unless you get too shallow, then they are runts.  I don't know how many we caught but it was a mess of them.  The lake is only 15 feet deep, with lily pads all around the edges.
We threw them all back but one big one that my daughter caught that she wanted to get a picture of. Also caught a few pike and bass.
