WOW! The warm weather this weekend sure brought out the fishermen. And the fish were being fairly cooperative, too! We had some really nice fish brought into the shop, and a ton of pictures sent in, too, so let's see some fish!

Bryan brought in a nice 29 inch walleye to the shop. Said he went 7 for 9 that morning, most being over the slot limit!

Caroline with a couple of the perch her and her dad Mike caught over the weekend.

Grant got on a hot bite south of Gladstone this weekend, landing 25 and 30 inch walleyes, and a 33 inch pike.

Joel had a good weekend on the upper bay, landing a fat 28 inch walleye that was released, and a couple big perch in the 13 to 14+ inch range.

Jared and Troy were fishing with Joel, and got 20 and 21 inch walleyes.

Levi and Taylor got 27 inch and 18 inch walleyes, fishing with Taylor's dad, Scott.

And finally, Tim Brought in a huge gator of a pike that was 43 inches long and weighed over 20 pounds!

Matt sent in a pic of a 36 inch pike that he and his nephew, Ash, teamed up on. He said - " 36" 12-15lb pike caught on Big Manistique Lk.  1/20/18.  Nephew Ash hooked and fought it till his hands were too cold. I helped him out for another 15 minutes.  Caught on a walleye rig with 8lb mono leader.  Great fish for the youngster."

Eric caught a 14 inch jumbo perch on the bay over the weekend.

Kevin said he went 6 for 7 on whitefish.

Last two entries for this weeks contest.

Brad caught his first ever walleye thru the ice - a 29 incher that went 10 pounds!

Zach sent in this pic. He said - "Hi, just wanted to send in the 27" walleye my 7 year old pulled out over the weekend in the North Bay all by him self. Proud dad here, thanks."

Last weeks winner, Levi, is back again with an 11 1/2 inch perch he caught this weekend. His friend, Brady, caught his first ever walleye - a 23 incher!

Caroline with her new personal best perch, (12 1/2 inches,) and a sucker she caught on Sunday.

Ethan got a 19 inch splake on a Moonshine spoon, (pretty safe bet it wasn't caught on LBDN.)

Glenn sent in a couple pics of the perch he caught on the bay Saturday and Sunday.

Jason sent in a picture of a mudpuppy he caught this past weekend, on a  4 inch sucker minnow. Never know what you might pull up while fishing Little Bay de Noc!

Duke landed a dandy 29 inch walleye that went 9 1/2 pounds.

Quinn and Paul caught some smelt and lakers up around Baraga.

Rebecca and Andy did well on the bay, fishing out of their sleeper shack this weekend. Actually, Rebecca caught both the big fish this trip - a 30 1/2 inch walleye and a 38 1/2 inch pike. She got the walleye at 2AM on a tip-up and a sucker minnow.

You can tell the mid winter doldrums have set in, as proven by the few entries we got in this weeks photo contest.

One last entry from this week is Dan with a 25 inch pike that he caught on the bay.

Garret stopped in last night with what was probably the biggest whitefish I've ever seen from Little Bay de Noc. It was 27 inches, 5 1/2 pounds! Nice one Garret :thmb:

Our photo contest isn't just about bragging sized fish. We mostly just want to see happy fishermen with their catches.

Mike's pic certainly falls in that category. Thanks for sharing :thmb:

Brandon caught a 32 inch pike off the Gladstone harbor, and an18 inch largemouth bass on an inland lake.

Ethan Caught a couple nice walleyes. Very nice considering how tough the walleye bite has been, lately.

Caroline was out again this weekend with her dad, Mike. He said "Here is Caroline with her first walleye through the ice that she caught on Saturday.  We had a dozen perch too." He also sent a pic of the hand puppet she made with it's eyes! Funny how a couple years ago, she wouldn't even hold a fish for a picture. Now she's playing with their guts! LOL!
