Just wondering since the tournament started is 71.12 pounds dead trout the most weight for 6 fish ? Over 11 pound average for lake trout is very good !!!

Pretty hard NOT to have had a GREAT day on the water for the derby. We game planned salmon in the morning like just about everyone else, to no avail, in the carp / lower light area.  Gave up on that at about 8:40, ran way N, and picked up 12 / kept 9 lakers between 11am and 1:30.  Nice batch of fish, just not enough weight. largest 9 lbs.  Great job to the Assoc. members that ran the weigh in and cap'ns meeting.  SMOOOOOTH sailin!!  If we'd have had my dads 25lb whale he caught at the reef Saturday we'd have been in the money (pic )
