That's one of the great things about the Detour tourney.  The element of surprize.  Kind of tough to do in a tourney where most people know each other and text messages, picture messages and cell phone calls are being made throughout the day.  Still alot of fun though and the weather looks great.

Nice Dan!  Its kinda nice now with the Auto Pilot because I can pre set a course in the AP, then I tell Boe-D to drive....he dosent even relize the boats actually driving itself  laugh()   Keeps him quite and busy for an hour or so anyways!

I would be all for a "quiet" tournament were numbers a kept quite and coolers kept closed but with no way to enforce it at all it would be tough to do.  And really, when is the last time you actually heard someone tell the truth while babbling on the VHF?  Thats more for entertainment than for valuble info!  We will talk about different possibilities at the next SSFA board meeting and see if we can do something a little different.  As always, all constructive comments or suggestions are welcome! Its our tournament,(the SSFA Members), so if the majority of us feels a change is due, we can make that happen.

333. Like the Tournament Trail except live release.  Once you weigh in 3 fish you can't weigh any more.  Even if you catch a larger one.  Great idea but probably confusong for a lot of people.  Also most days catching 3 salmon to live release is VERY tough to do.  Love the idea though.   ;D
