Rick- There is a method to my madness you see.. The "lack of the right plumbing" thing usually involves buying a bigger boat with a pisser and adequate tanning room..See where im getting at??? hmmm.....

Josh- Its a good thing when they really enjoy being out there..My EX got pissed at me when i bonked a fish over the head with "ron jeremy" (my fish bonker) so she had to go, and now with the new one she actually does the killin and is even is starting to fillet!! Good luck man!! beer

Just got back to Marquette after spending a little time in Faiport, got there the third week of June and left this past Sunday.  Over all fishing was a blast!  We caught a lot of nice fish and fished with some pretty damn good fishermen.  I have to say that there were a few very dependable spoons and rigs, but over all the presentation at the right time was the key, carbon spoons seemed to be the most dependable, but I can safely say that I caught fish on almost every color of meat rig and spoon.  The best for me was my wife as she went out rain or shine, windy or calm and never complained(well almost never LOL).  On shore we met a lot of very nice family's and had a good time with our next door neighbors, the Branams and the Kings.   LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR ON THE WATER!!!

Likewise Mr Harris! beer The biggest advantage to fishing with your spouse is you really can't get away from one another on the boat, so by the time fall rolls around she is so sick of you she doesn't care if she sees you for the next few months!! I love it when a plan comes together. dance

Gotta agree with Bert, it's been a great year in Fairport, though the fishing could be hit or miss some days, getting to spend time with new friends, (both the locals and the transients), has been a blast. Thought it might be winding down for the year, but then we went out Monday night and went 7 for 10, all decent fish. Seems weird to be "home" for a few days, after a month in Fairport Heaven. Hope to be back down that way by Sunday. Purple glows were hotter than hot the other night -Moonshine Bullseye, and Ranger Danger were on fire, thanks for the tip on color Apple Man.
