Lake Michigan rivers?

 Has any one heard if there is fish being caught in any of the Lake Michigan spawning rivers?

there starting got news late last night that the lakes turned over and the fish are starting in pier fisherman were out all night trying for them I'll share reports when I get some as to what specific ports

I heard the piers at manistee are dead and stjoe is all steelhead right now over on the east side there starting to get them in oscoda at night but still 7 miles out in the daytime

Hopefully they come in shallower by manistique. Usually it's stacked with steelhead this time of the year.

not yet fishfinder it might not be for awhile try  fishing a spring fed stream thats conected to lake Michigan after the next rain and you might get fish

A coworker caught one coho in manistee lake yesterday... tippy dam dead...

                   Yeah I've thought about trying that . Are there any salmon rivers in marquette that are starting to get salmon at the mouths yet? It seems like It'll be a while before manistique gets any.

last I knew there was cold water to the east of the harrbor in manisteque I was looking at my map yesterday trying to see the different structure around manisteque and noticed afew small streams spread out between mani and gouliver you could try those I'm gonna fish one of them

That probably would work too. I bet the breakwall in gulliver would be great for fishing salmon and steelhead. :dance:
