***2013 Spring Shootout POSTPONED***
« on: May 10, 2013, 10:48:06 AM »

NWS-Marquette is forecasting the cold front to hit Marquette at 7 am Saturday.  The wind will switch from SW at 10 knots to NNW at 20 knots sustained with 30 knot gusts; winds will increase rapidly behind the front as it moves over the area.  A Small Craft Advisory (SCA) will be issued for Saturday beginning as early as 8 am to 9 am.

The Spring Shootout will be postponed until Saturday, May 18, 2013. Registration will be conducted Friday, May 17, 2013 from approximately 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm in the parking lot adjacent to Thills Fish House and the Marquette Dock Association dock.

If you have already registered and are unable to fish next weekend, you will be given a full refund.  Please send me a PM or call me if you would like a refund.

Went for a boat ride tonight to put some break in hours on the motor. Few rollers but pretty nice. 1 14 footer and a 16ftr trolling off the mouth of the carp.
