WANTED - Volunteers to Assist with Fish Release
« on: September 24, 2013, 05:11:28 PM »

If you are interested in assisting KBIC Fisheries staff with releasing approximately 200 Klondike Reef-strain lake trout in the Marquette area sometime duing the daytime hours on or about October 1, 2013, please contact me.  The fish were used as brood stock at the Iron River National Fish Hatchery.  The fish average approximately 18 pounds each.  They will be tagged and released in the Marquette harbor area.  Fisheries staff are looking for assistance with moving the fish from the transport vehicle to the water.  Please contact me by email at mkoski@trimediaee.com, send me an IM from this web site, or call 360-4027 if you would like participate in the event.

Thank you,

Mylan Koski

If you are interested in helping or just watching hatchery personnel transfer these fish, I was informed they plan to set up near the wall in Mattson Park (Lower Harbor).  They plan to arrive around 1 pm on Tuesday, October 1st.

Thanks,

Mylan
