He's coming back   :thmb:

Captain Dan Keatings "Salmon and Trout Tactics" seminar will be held in Marquette on March 21st, 2015 in the "Explorer Rooms", at the University Center on the campus of NMU.
Doors will open at 9:15 a.m., the School will start at 10 a.m.  Captain Dan will speak from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with a 1 hour break at Noon for lunch. This is your chance to soak up everything you can from one of the greatest Fisherman on the Great Lakes...in person.  There were many who missed out last time he was here as we were sold out before the event, and many others have mentioned they'd like to see him in the U.P. again.  Here is your chance!

--Some of the topics Captain Dan usually covers include:
-Way Deep Kings
-Targeting Negative Kings Throughout the Day
-Discerning and Responding to Currents
-Meat Presentations
-Integrating "Traditional" Tactics w/Cutting Edge Tactics
-How to Locate Fish
-Light Line Tactics
-Lure Selection/Color Selection
-Trailer Boat Spreads and Boat Control
-Proven Steelhead Spreads

-A full lunch with pop and water will be included with the seminar as well as a raffle ticket.  This is the same weekend as the Boat, Sport, and RV Show at the Dome in Marquette.  With the change in location over to NMU, we can now seat up to 120 for the seminar instead of the 100 we had last time.  We will also have tables and chairs for everyone this time, so it should be more comfortable and easier to write things down.  We are also going to be taking topic ideas from you as you register.  Dan could talk for 5 days and not get to everything he could cover, but in only 5 hours he has to pick certain topics to cover and some to leave out.  He wants to know from the people attending what topics he should cover in more detail.  We also are planning a longer session of the "question and answer" part, as many commented that it was the part of the seminar they learned the most from.

Cost will be $60 per person   -Only 120 spots available

Registration-
-By phone with a Credit Card at (906) 250-1052
-Mail a check made payable to "Wildflowers LLC" to 235 North Big Creek Rd.  Marquette, MI 49855
-If you have any questions, feel free to call (906) 250-1052 or (906) 251-1891

Capt. Dan's newest book comes out on January 20th, another "must have" for Great Lakes Trout and Salmon Fisherman!  They can be ordered off his website, or can be purchased at the event in March along with all his other books and DVD's.  This should be another great time with lots of fellow fisherman and one of the best Captains on the Great Lakes right here in Marquette.

Not at all.  When you register, just let me know you plan to be late.  :thmb:

And a HUGE thanks to the guys at Slide Diver who helped us get enough so everyone attending the seminar will leave with a new Slide Diver!  :drunk:

If you already use them, you surely need another.  If you've never used them, you're missing out!!  Its my favorite delivery devise hands down, is super versatile, and produces fish all year long.  The biggest Salmon ever caught on my boat was caught behind a Slide Diver.  The Biggest Lake Trout ever caught on my boat while trolling came behind a Slide Diver.   :thmb:

Thanks Ryan, and thank you to everyone else who came yesterday.  Everything went very smooth and I think lots of people walked out with some new things to try in the water this summer.
