I would like to take a minute and thank all the people that stepped up to either sponsor, participate and help with the TTN this year. For only launching this a short time ago I am very impressed with what we have achieved so far and it has surpassed my expectations for the first year. As of this morning we have 14 boats, which brings the salmon grand prize to $1,120 (not including sponsor donations)! Also, I would like to give a special thanks to Mylan Koski for offering to create the scoring program for the TTN this year. Again, thanks to you all and the best is yet to come!

There was a slight glitch so the TTN committee decided to make a rule change late last week. TTN standings will be decided on points now instead of points and weight. (1000 for first down to100 for 10th)Tie breakers will be decided by total weight at the end of the year.

Thank you

We will be at the SSFA meeting tonight if anyone else wants to sign up for the TTN and pay. There is a waiver that the captains need to sign as well. Remember, if you plan on fishing the TTN this year you have to be signed up and pay BEFORE the SSFA spring shootout.  I will be out of town next week fishing a tournament in Canada on Lake Ontario so I probably wont have service so if you are interested please try to get everything to me or the other board members this week.

Thanks

With the potential delay of the SSFA spring shootout the TTN committee has decided to allow ONE "throw back" of the 4 total events. This means whether you have a bad score, boat problems, bad weather or a date you cant make you will be able to release one event. So, your best 3 events of the 4 will be your total score.

Thanks

I need some help understanding the Marquette Mid summer Classic scoring.
So if one team wins live release salmon, and another team wins dead salmon. Who gets the 1000 points? Both teams?

Yes sir. Then if there is a tie, overall total weight from your top 3 events will settle the score. The team has to choose whether they want to do live release or dead before the weigh in. Cant enter both in TTN scoring.
