Please move Ice Fishing to the bottom
« on: April 02, 2016, 12:03:29 PM »

I don't know if it's just me that's superstitious in these matters, but it just doesn't want to stop snowing. Maybe we'd have a better chance if the ice fishing forum got moved to the bottom. Thanks Brett.

I second this motion!

Can't hurt to try, anyway.

I made an offering to the gods today to maybe stop the snow. I snow blowed a path across my lawn so the robins could reach bare ground. Then dumped an 18 pack of night crawlers out for them to eat. Here's crossing fingers hoping that it worked.

OK Jeff, I covered the grass with snow and shot both of the robins that ate the 'crawlers ;)

Do robins eat rotten crawlers Dan?

On 4-16-82 we got 18" of heavy wet snow in Marquette.

Someone pissed off the snow gods.

Speaking of robins. I throw out our dead minnows out on the grass in the mornings. The local family of ravens comes and cleans them up in pretty short order, most days. Today a robin flew down and gobbled up a bunch of the minnows before the ravens arrived. Never saw that before.

Yeah, I'm talking about birds. That's how slow the fishing is, right now!
