Only thing I have seen is incredibly tiny beefsteaks (twenty to thirty up, but no bigger than a quarter) so far.

Every year we get some morels off the side of our driveway, always makes the walk out to get the mail a little more fun this time of year.  So far nothing.

Saw five morels on the edge of the driveway when I walked out for the mail today.  Time to get serious about looking.

Your driveway find is nearly equivalent to my season so far...one of us is doing a bit more walking, though!

Morels are out in good numbers, picked for just under three hours yesterday to get about 5lbs.  Ticks are out, too, but not in heavy numbers where I was.

Found some huge white morels this week.  Kinda late isn't it?  Anyway, they were huge.

When we were living down on Mullet Lake, Karen found a dozen whites that averaged the size of a beer can in mid-June. How were the ticks?
I am in the initial interval of crate training/house breaking our newest labrador...

Ticks have not been bad where I go down in Dickinson, even during turkey season.  Usually it's pretty thick with them until the end of June, early July.
