Chartplotter/GPS chip
« on: September 10, 2016, 08:21:02 PM »

I just bought a Lowrance 3300c GPS unit for my boat and I am wondering what the best chip to get is. I want to find one that has good contours and is pretty accurate, and includes the great lakes. But yet I don't want to spend 300 dollars on one either, but if I have to spend a little so be it. So what is everyones opinion on it? Or is someone willing to part with one they have and sell it? Any info is appreciated! Thanks

I have a lake master chip in my 7200C, it's fantastic. It was $99 when I bought it. Problem now is that lake master was bought by Johnson sports I do beleave and the only now they only supply Hummingbird products,, if the 3300c is a older unit you can still find the chips around..
